Pediatric Physician — Outpatient 40-hr Week in Martinsburg with Teaching & Optional Inpatient Role

A respected healthcare organization in Martinsburg, WV, seeks a Pediatrician to join a growing, academic-focused team. The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care (birth through young adulthood) and participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Optional inpatient duties available for interested providers.

Schedule and Setting

• Monday–Friday; 40-hour work week
• Primarily outpatient; inpatient participation optional
• Faculty role with teaching responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope outpatient pediatric care for patients birth through 24 years
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Perform preventive care, wellness exams, and immunizations
• Manage ~16–18 patients per day (average)
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for continuity of care

Academic and Teaching Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
• Support clinical teaching initiatives within the pediatric program
• Promote a collaborative learning environment

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Eligible for or active West Virginia medical license
• DEA registration required by start date
