Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Phoenix, AZ | High-Acuity Center, Predictable Block Schedule

Join a physician-led organization in Phoenix to support a high-acuity, hospital-based trauma center. The group emphasizes predictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and collaborative, team-based care to allow surgeons to focus on operative and non-operative management of complex trauma.

Schedule

• 183 24-hour shifts annually
• Block scheduling with 7-day stretch rotations
• Built-in recovery time between rotations

Key responsibilities

• Provide operative and non-operative care for orthopedic trauma patients
• Participate in trauma call coverage
• Manage complex fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries
• Coordinate care with trauma surgery, ICU, and emergency medicine teams
• Balance surgical cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilities
• Maintain timely documentation and deliver patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship
• Experience with high-acuity trauma cases preferred
• Expertise in pelvic and acetabular fracture care strongly preferred
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure and able to obtain/maintain hospital privileges
