Family Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (Student Loan Repayment) - Benson, AZ

Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult and family patients in Benson, AZ. Manage patient visits, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications within scope of practice, coordinate referrals, maintain accurate medical records, and participate in quality improvement and patient education.

Minimum qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Arizona NP license
• Board certification in relevant specialty (Family/Adult)
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Driver’s license and proof of insurance may be required for mileage reimbursement
• Two years of previous clinical experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to adults and families
• Perform history and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses; initiate and adjust medications and therapies
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers
• Document encounters, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
• Deliver patient education and counseling on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic operations as needed
