Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Bangor, ME team as the site’s Lead Provider. This leadership position is ideal for an experienced APP who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered urgent care while mentoring clinical staff and promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages in a high-volume ambulatory setting.
- Serve as the clinical lead for on-site clinical staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and support new graduate NPs/PAs and allied health professionals; foster professional development and best practices.
- Promote evidence-based care, quality improvement, and consistent documentation standards.
- Collaborate with administration to optimize workflows, patient safety, and site performance.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program and national certification from the appropriate certifying body.
- Active Maine license or eligibility for Maine licensure; ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted DEA registration.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is highly desirable.

- Hourly pay: $80.00–$85.00
