Ophthalmologist (Board-Certified/Eligible) — Brown University Health, Providence, RI

Brown University Health seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist to join a collaborative Ophthalmology department in Providence, RI. Join 12 ophthalmology providers delivering comprehensive primary and specialty eye care across outpatient clinics and surgical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical care and perform ophthalmic surgeries.
• Practice at two fully equipped surgical centers (Providence, RI and Attleboro, MA).
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care and referral management.
• Contribute to quality improvement and departmental activities.

Academic and Teaching

• Participate in a residency program with Brown-affiliated medical students.
• Mentor and teach Physician Assistant students during clinical rotations.
• Engage in clinical teaching, supervision, and academic activities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary $225,000–$325,000 plus RVU-based productivity incentives.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
