Brown University invites a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to join a collaborative, well-established women’s health team in Providence, RI. This full-scope OB/GYN role offers strong clinical resources, dedicated staff, and ready access to subspecialty care in a high-volume practice that manages over 1,700 deliveries annually. Academic opportunities include teaching, mentorship, case review, and operative experience with Brown University residents.
You will join a team of seven OB/GYN physicians, full-time certified nurse‑midwives, one Gynecologic Oncologist, one Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist, and two hospitalists, providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. The position is structured for work–life balance with an approximately 50/50 obstetrics and gynecology mix, protected administrative time, and a manageable on-call schedule.
Key details:
- Clinical schedule: 4 clinic days per week
- OR time: 0.5 day per week
- Administrative time: 1 full protected day per week
- Call: 1:8 rotation, 12-hour shifts (except holidays)
- Strong access to subspecialty support

Birthing center and clinical resources:
- Eleven-room birthing center with spacious private rooms
- Labor support amenities, including hydrotherapy tubs
- Lactation support services and comprehensive postpartum programs
- Level II ultrasound, on-site radiology, and advanced cervical screening
Compensation and benefits:
- Competitive base salary range $260,000–$300,000 plus incentives up to $50,000 annually

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency
