Locum Neurosurgeon — Trauma & Acute Care (Corpus Christi, TX)

Locum opportunity for Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to cover trauma and acute care neurosurgery with elective cases at an ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center in Corpus Christi, TX.

Location and Facility

• ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center
• New, state-of-the-art hospital with advanced ER, OR, and inpatient facilities
• Accredited Stroke Center with subspecialty support
• Collaborative, team-based environment with full APP support

Schedule

• Per diem engagement
• 4–7 flexible 24-hour shifts per month
• No additional call requirement

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide trauma and acute care neurosurgical coverage
• Manage emergency and inpatient neurosurgical cases
• Perform elective neurosurgical procedures as appropriate
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and full-time APP support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow institutional protocols

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
• Current experience in trauma neurosurgery

Compensation and Logistics

• $4,600 per 24-hour shift
• Travel, lodging, and transportation fully covered
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage provided
• Dedicated locum consultant to assist with credentialing and scheduling
