Chief of Radiology / Diagnostic Radiologist / Breast Imaging Radiologist / Interventional Radiologist — Brown University Health (Rhode Island)

Brown University Health is looking for board-certified or board-eligible radiologists to join our hospital-based practice just outside Providence, serving patients across southeastern Massachusetts. We have openings for four distinct roles: a leadership position as Chief of Radiology, and clinical roles in Diagnostic Radiology, Breast Imaging, and Interventional Radiology. Each position offers the chance to work in a collaborative, academic environment with ties to teaching and quality initiatives.

Chief of Radiology (Leadership)
We’re seeking a clinician leader who will provide strategic, operational, and clinical direction for the radiology department while maintaining an active practice. You’ll lead growth initiatives, drive physician engagement, and spearhead quality improvement across the radiology service line.

Diagnostic Radiologist
Join a team that provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging across CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and X‑ray. You’ll practice in a collaborative setting with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests and participate in teaching through Brown University Health.

Breast Imaging Radiologist
Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered breast care including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image‑guided procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary breast care team to coordinate and improve patient outcomes.

Interventional Radiologist
Practice a full spectrum of minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures in a procedure‑focused setting. There are opportunities to expand services and help grow the interventional program.

Compensation & benefits

• Chief of Radiology: $475,000–$550,000
• Diagnostic & Breast Imaging Radiologist: $475,000–$535,000
• Interventional Radiologist: $490,000–$550,000

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (IR certification for the Interventional role)
• Fellowship training or strong clinical interest in Breast Imaging or Interventional Radiology, as applicable
• Prior leadership experience preferred for the Chief role
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
