Locum Tenens Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon — Twin Falls, ID (Level III Trauma Center)

A healthcare facility in Twin Falls, Idaho seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to provide high-quality care in a Level III trauma center. This position focuses on the evaluation and management of acute musculoskeletal injuries across inpatient and emergency settings, with opportunities to manage a broad range of traumatic orthopedic cases and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to excellent patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat traumatic orthopedic injuries in the emergency department and inpatient units
• Provide operative and non-operative fracture management and related orthopedic procedures
• Consult on ED and inpatient cases and participate in trauma call coverage as part of the orthopedic team
• Collaborate closely with emergency medicine, trauma surgery, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and surgical support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Orthopedic Trauma fellowship preferred
• Eligible for Idaho medical licensure
• Demonstrated clinical judgment and ability to manage complex trauma cases
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation and benefits:

• $3,850 per shift
• Above-market hourly rate with all travel arrangements coordinated and booked by the group
