Responsibilities:

• Perform focused patient assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
• Stabilize and treat a broad spectrum of emergent conditions, initiating appropriate medications, procedures, and resuscitation measures.
• Perform minor surgical procedures as indicated (incision and drainage, suturing, etc.).
• Develop and implement treatment plans, coordinate with consultants, and facilitate safe dispositions.
• Provide clear documentation and timely communication with nursing staff, specialists, and patients’ families.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, quality measures, and patient-safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Active Florida medical license.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
