Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician — Freestanding ER, Panama City FL

Join a brand-new, freestanding emergency room in Panama City, FL, where you'll work in a modern, patient-centered facility designed for efficient, high-quality care. The 11,000-square-foot ER includes 11 bays, a fully equipped trauma bay, separate adult and pediatric waiting areas, and all private treatment rooms to ensure patient comfort and privacy.

In this locum tenens role you'll evaluate and treat patients across the spectrum of emergency presentations, manage acute medical and trauma cases using the facility’s full resources, and collaborate closely with EMS to ensure smooth transitions from ambulance to ER care. Strong communication with inpatient teams and other providers is essential to coordinate timely handoffs for patients requiring admission.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Florida medical license
