Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant (Per Diem) — Stockbridge, GA

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our trauma surgery team in Stockbridge, GA. In this full-time role you’ll provide hands-on care to trauma patients, support surgical procedures, and work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other clinicians to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.

What you’ll do:

• Evaluate trauma patients through focused history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assist with trauma operations — from preoperative preparation to intraoperative support and postoperative management — helping to optimize perioperative care and recovery.
• Respond as an active member of the trauma team for critically ill and injured patients, participating in assessments, resuscitations, and emergency interventions.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of trauma protocols and participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences.
• Educate patients and families about injuries, treatment plans, and post-discharge care to support recovery and informed decision-making.

What we’re looking for:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program and national certification.
• Current PA licensure in Georgia.
• Strong background in trauma care and surgical settings, with demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and collaborate effectively on a team.
