Job Description
We are seeking a Pediatric General Surgeon to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage in Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative pediatric surgery team at a Level I Trauma Center while providing weekend call coverage.
Overview
- Approximately 1 weekend (4-5 days) per month
- Arrive Thursday evening and depart Monday morning
- 24-hour call coverage throughout the assignment
- Flexible scheduling based on provider availability
- Perform the full scope of Pediatric General Surgery procedures
- Dedicated inpatient and outpatient APN support
- 30-minute call response time
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery
- Illinois license (IMLC accepted)
- DEA, Illinois CSR, and PALS required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
