- 7 am - 7 am shifts -- block scheduling format
- 12 - 15 patients per day in clinic
- 11 - 12 inpatient consults per encounter
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient -- heavy inpatient emphasis
- General nephrology and dialysis management -- no procedures required
- Adults only
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
