Rate: $2,685.60 / 36 hours

Role:
Provide medical-surgical nursing care on a rotating shift for the duration of the 13-week travel contract. Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care, coordinate with interdisciplinary team, monitor and document patient status, administer medications, perform procedures within RN scope, and assist with discharge planning and patient education.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Alaska
• Minimum 2 years medical-surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for med-surg population
• Administer medications and treatments per orders
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status; respond to changes promptly
• Document nursing care and patient responses accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions
• Adhere to facility policies, infection control, and safety standards

Certifications and Compliance:

• Maintain current Alaska RN license and BLS throughout assignment
• Meet facility onboarding and credentialing requirements prior to start date
