Rate: Local: $1533 / 35 hours
Required credential
- Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
Core responsibilities
- Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations and implement prescribed interventions and exercise programs.
- Administer modalities and operate therapeutic equipment as directed.
- Instruct patients in exercise techniques and educate patients and families on home programs to support recovery.
- Document treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely in patient records.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team.
- Follow safety, infection control, and facility policies and procedures.
