Position summary:
Provide RN clinical leadership and nursing management on a 13-week contract in Sitka. Coordinate patient care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Core responsibilities:
- Oversee daily nursing operations and staffing
- Coordinate patient care, assignments, and discharge planning
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff; conduct performance feedback
- Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and leadership on care plans and quality initiatives
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
Required qualifications:
- Active RN license (current)
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience
- BLS certification
