Requirements
- Valid, active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia; instruct patients and families in safe swallowing strategies and therapeutic exercises.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
