Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 10-Week Contract, Florence, AL (Starts Aug 17, 2026)

Location: Florence, AL | Start: Aug 17, 2026 | Duration: 10 weeks | Schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM | Rate: Travel $1076/36 hrs

Join a contract team providing hands-on nursing care in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will work under RN or physician direction to assess patients, administer medications and treatments, manage wounds, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate patient documentation. Patient and family education, adherence to infection control protocols, and timely response to medical emergencies are essential.

Requirements:

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse state license
• BLS certification

Core responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care per care plans and provider orders
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and administer prescribed medications/treatments
• Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection/complications
• Continuously monitor, record, and report vital signs and patient status changes
• Maintain detailed, timely patient records and communicate with the care team
• Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care
• Respond promptly in emergencies and follow infection prevention protocols
