Hours/Rate: Local: $1,677 per 35-hour week

Minimum requirements:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Maryland
• CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED)

Primary responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental status to identify functional limitations and set treatment goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills and independence
• Recommend, train in, and monitor use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Educate patients and families on condition management, adaptive strategies, and safety
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress; adjust plans as needed
• Communicate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate care and discharge planning
