Required credentials

• Active Occupational Therapy state license.
• CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).

Core responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive function and home/environmental factors to identify limitations and set measurable goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic techniques to improve independence in daily living tasks.
• Recommend, train on, and document use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
• Educate patients and family/caregivers on condition management, safety, and strategies to maximize functional independence.
• Monitor, document, and adjust intervention plans based on patient progress; communicate and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
