Licensure:
- Active Hawaii RN license required by assignment start. Candidates without an active HI license must apply immediately upon acceptance.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years total RN experience.
- At least 1 year recent hospital acute care experience within the past year.
Unit / Specialty:
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown
- Must be able to float to Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER as needed.
Core responsibilities:
- Provide primary nursing care for PCU patients.
- Telemetry monitoring and telemetry strip interpretation.
- Perform fingerstick blood glucose testing.
- Float to other acute units within the hospital when required.
