We’re looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide locum tenens support in Electrophysiology in Flagstaff, AZ. This role is clinic- and hospital-based, covering adult EP patients with both same-day and follow-up responsibilities.

What you’ll do

• Provide clinical hospital and clinic coverage for the EP service, collaborating closely with an EP physician.
• Manage follow-ups, post-operative checks, and post-device evaluations.
• Handle same-day appointments and procedure follow-ups as needed.
• Work scheduled shifts 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch, roughly 3–4 weeks per month.

Schedule & coverage

• Assignment runs Aug 17, 2026 – Nov 16, 2026.
• Coverage is clinical only.
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided.

Patient population & volume

• Adults only.
• Hospital volume is variable; clinic census around 14.

Facility & support

• EMR: Cerner.
• EP physician backup available.
• Role is supplemental coverage.

Requirements & credentials

• Active AZ license preferred; candidates requiring licensing will be considered.
• NP or PA certification required.
• DEA required.
• Minimum one year of Electrophysiology experience.
• Hospital privileges required; credentialing typically takes 30–60 days.
