Adelphi is looking for an itinerant Art Therapist to deliver school-based services across a Frederick County, Maryland school district. You’ll work closely with school administrators to provide therapy that aligns with district procedures and professional standards.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree in Art Therapy
• Current credentialing through the Art Therapy Credentials Board
• Current licensure as a Professional Art Therapist
• Strong understanding of professional ethics and expected behaviors
• Ability to deliver individualized, school-based art therapy
• Willingness to supply your own art therapy materials and supplies

What you’ll do

• Assess student strengths and needs and develop individualized art therapy treatment/intervention plans
• Use therapeutic art interventions to address social, communication, emotional, physical, cognitive, sensory, and related functional needs
• Provide individual and/or group services depending on student needs and educational plans
• Serve students across all grade levels
• Travel between assigned schools or locations as required
• Deliver services in person and collaborate with school staff
• Perform other duties as assigned
