We’re looking for a Certified Radiologic Technologist to join our team at a correctional facility in Leavenworth, Kansas. You’ll perform routine diagnostic imaging for the facility’s patient population, operate government-furnished radiographic equipment, keep accurate clinical records, and follow all applicable professional, radiation-safety, infection-control, privacy, and correctional-security protocols.

What we need
- Current ARRT certification (Radiography) and an active Kansas state license
- Minimum of three years of radiologic technologist experience
What you’ll do
- Perform routine diagnostic x-rays as ordered by authorized medical staff
- Operate and care for radiographic equipment per manufacturer guidance and institutional procedures
- Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and position patients to produce diagnostic-quality images
- Review images for correct positioning and exposure, and ensure overall image quality
- Follow radiation-safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions or concerns promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of exams, procedures, patient info, and workload
- Support daily radiology clinic operations and communicate relevant clinical information to authorized Health Services personnel
- Observe the facility’s Health Services Manual, departmental policies, and institutional procedures
- Maintain professional interactions in a secure correctional environment and immediately report inmate rule violations, security issues, or unusual incidents
- Keep open lines of communication with the Clinical Director, Health Services Administrator, and Contracting Officer’s Representative
- Perform other duties as assigned
