Seeking a board-certified Urologist for locum tenens inpatient call coverage in Worcester, MA (01608). Assignment runs Aug 21–Dec 14, 2026, with specific coverage dates: Aug 13–17; Oct 1–4; Oct 9–12; Oct 23–26; Nov 6–9; Nov 13–16; and Dec 24–27, 2026. This is in-house call-only coverage to support extra volume. Agency provides travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient urology consultations and manage admissions.
- Perform emergency urologic procedures as needed.
- Cover on-call urology emergencies and collaborate with hospital staff and specialists.
Clinical details:
- Average daily consult volume: 2–3.
- Rounding: inpatient and consults.
- Phone consults: typically 0–1 per day.
- EMR: Cerner.
- Support team: 3 RNs, 1 PA/NP, 3 office techs.
Requirements:
- Board certified in Urology.
- Massachusetts medical license.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- Fellowship training preferred.
- Hospital privileges: temporary privileges available; permanent privileges not required.
