Rate: $3,580.80 per 48 hours

Summary

• Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. Provide maternal-child care across the continuum for pregnant and laboring women, newborns, children and families, following established standards and nursing processes. Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesia and interdisciplinary team members.

Required Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience, including at least 2 years in Labor & Delivery and post-partum
• Circulations experience and willingness to care for GYN surgical and general post-op patients
• Able to work every 3rd weekend
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated patient-centered behaviors and strong organizational skills with high accuracy

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for maternal and newborn patients per AWHONN standards
• Provide care during labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn period
• Assist physicians, anesthesia and other team members with procedures and patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve desired patient outcomes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and hospital staff; follow hospital policies and procedures
• Perform assigned general nursing responsibilities as required
