Schedule:

• Shift schedule: TBD
• Infrequent on-call shifts as needed
• May be required to work at other facilities within the health system

Privileges & Compliance:

• Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available

Required Qualifications:

• Board: BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• State license: OH (required)
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS

Required Clinical Skills / Procedures:

• Spinal and epidural anesthesia
• Peripheral nerve blocks and post-op epidurals
• Epidural steroid and transforaminal injections
• Use of x-ray guidance for blocks
• Ventilator management
• Central line (C-line) and arterial line (A-line) placement
• Pulmonary artery (PA) catheter management
• Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
• Pain management techniques

Primary Duties:

• Provide anesthesia across listed surgical specialties
• Provide medical direction and supervision of CRNAs during surgical cases
• Collaborate with surgical teams for perioperative care
• Cover occasional on-call and system-wide assignments as required
