Travel OR Registered Nurse (Operating Room) — Vail, CO (13-week Contract)

We’re looking for an experienced Operating Room RN to join a Vail, CO team on a 13-week contract starting August 3, 2026. This is a day-shift role (32 hours/week) with a pay rate of $2,342.40 per 32-hour week.

What you’ll bring

• At least 2 years of RN experience.
• Current RN license in Colorado or from a valid compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently, delegate appropriately per Colorado statute, and remain HIPAA compliant.

What you’ll do

• Manage daily patient flow in the OR to maximize safety, care quality, and satisfaction.
• Triage incoming patient requests and respond to high call volumes for medications, information, and assistance.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures while following patient safety guidelines.
• Provide patient education to support care plans, informed decisions, and wellness.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, physician practices, Vail Health, and other providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Use Relationship-Based Care to partner with patients and families, advocate for preferences, and ensure clear communication.
• Model Just Culture and organizational values in everyday practice.
