Requirements
- Active, valid Registered Nurse state license for New Mexico
- BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care
- Administer medications and obtain specimens for testing per orders and protocols
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments; initiate and document nursing interventions and patient progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team; assist with procedures as required
- Complete and maintain accurate medical records, including assessments, interventions, education, and discharge planning
- Maintain a safe therapeutic environment; enforce safety and conduct standards for patients
Credentials and Documentation
- Maintain current licensure and certifications in personnel file
- Document all nursing activities and communications in the medical record per facility policy
