Required qualifications

• Active LPN license in the State of Florida
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum one year of nursing experience (preferred)
• Minimum one year of experience working with students in a school setting
• Minimum one year of experience supporting students with multiple disabilities

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under RN supervision
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and manage students with chronic medical conditions
• Conduct daily health assessments and screenings as needed
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of nursing services and student health records
• Respond to student illnesses and medical emergencies
• Support and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
• Communicate health concerns and care plans with school staff and parents
• Maintain confidentiality of student health information
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support student health and school operations
