Internal Medicine Faculty Physician — Outpatient, Health Equity & Population Health Lead (Dallas, TX)

Join a permanent, full-time outpatient Internal Medicine faculty position in Dallas, TX focused on adult primary care, population health, health equity, and value-based care. This clinical-only role supports ongoing coverage starting ASAP with a daytime schedule to be determined.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track and supervise residents in clinical settings.
• Provide bedside and clinic-based teaching in primary care, population health, value-based care, and equity-focused practice.
• Instruct residents on integrating social determinants of health, community-engaged care, and equity-centered clinical decision making.
• Participate in educational activities including journal clubs, lectures, case conferences, and resident workshops.
• Mentor residents on quality improvement, health equity research, and other scholarly projects; deliver formative and summative feedback.
• Collaborate with residency and program leadership to develop and refine curriculum.

Practice environment:

• Multidisciplinary outpatient team including care managers, pharmacists, social workers, behavioral health specialists, and community partners.
• Adult patient population with variable volume.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an ACGME- or AMA-accredited residency program.
• Board certified or eligible.
• Active Texas medical license or willingness to obtain.
• At least one professional reference within the last 24 months.
• Experience in medical education, health equity, population health, or value-based care highly preferred.
• Clean professional record preferred.
