Requirements
- Valid School Physical Therapy Assistant License issued by the State of Florida
- Minimum 1 year experience working with students in a school setting
- Minimum 1 year experience working with students with multiple disabilities
- Minimum 1 year experience participating in IEP meetings
- Minimum 1 year experience writing therapy goals for IEPs
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day applied physical therapy services and teacher support under the direction of the supervising physical therapist
- Collaborate with school administration and staff to deliver services in accordance with established guidelines and standards of practice
- Participate in IEP meetings and implement IEP goals as written
- Document therapy sessions and student progress per school and district requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
