Adelphi seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to provide on-site therapy services at a school in Sarasota County, Florida. This contract position supports students during regular school sessions, working closely with school administration and under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Required Qualifications

• Current RBT credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children with autism or behavioral disabilities (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year experience working with students in a school setting
• Experience implementing behavior intervention plans in educational environments
• Ability to work under BCBA supervision

Primary Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as directed
• Provide one-on-one behavioral support and coaching to students
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate behavioral data and documentation
• Support development of students’ communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Promote positive behavior strategies within classroom settings
• Collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, therapists, and school staff on treatment goals
• Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation when appropriate
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in required staff meetings and training
• Perform other duties as assigned
