Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Texas SLP license
• ASHA CCC-SLP
• Demonstrated bilingual proficiency in English and the student’s primary language

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive bilingual evaluations using culturally and linguistically appropriate assessment tools
• Provide speech and language therapy in the student’s dominant language, as appropriate, to ensure equitable access
• Accurately document language(s) of assessment and service delivery per IDEA and district requirements
• Prepare and maintain data-driven progress notes, treatment plans, and IEP documentation
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide compliant, evidence-based recommendations
• Collaborate with families, bilingual educators, and multidisciplinary team members to support student outcomes
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the district or supervising agency
