- Texas licensed Audiologist
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations to determine hearing levels and impact on educational performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support hearing devices (e.g., hearing aids, FM/ALD systems) to ensure proper function in the classroom.
- Recommend and verify appropriate classroom accommodations and modifications to support access to instruction.
- Provide consultation and training for teachers and school staff on hearing loss, amplification systems, and evidence-based communication strategies.
- Prepare and maintain documentation of assessments, services, and recommendations in compliance with IDEA and district policies.
- Attend ARD/IEP meetings to present evaluation results and offer audiology-specific recommendations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
