Required qualification:
- Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and activities to improve motor skills, mobility, and independence with daily living tasks.
- Instruct patients and caregivers in the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
- Document treatments, patient progress, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
- Follow safety and infection-control protocols to maintain a safe therapy environment.
