Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or related behavioral health field
- Experience providing counseling to children and adolescents
- School-based or pediatric behavioral health experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and counseling evaluations for students
- Provide individual and group counseling tailored to identified needs
- Develop and implement individualized counseling and intervention plans
- Support students with behavioral, emotional, social, and academic challenges
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed
- Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in ARD/IEP, Section 504, and other student-support meetings as assigned
- Maintain accurate, confidential, FERPA-compliant records
- Perform related duties as assigned
