Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) — Albany, OR — 13-Week Contract

We’re looking for a compassionate Labor & Delivery RN to join a team in Albany, OR for a 13-week contract starting September 7, 2026. This is a day-shift assignment with competitive pay — $2,736 for 36 hours per week — ideal for an experienced nurse who enjoys supporting families through labor, delivery and early postpartum care.

What we’re looking for

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
• Healthcare Provider-level BLS (American Heart Association)
• AHA ACLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (labor & delivery or related women’s health/MFM experience preferred)

Core responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing and escalating changes in condition
• Assist with deliveries, including support for low-risk and some higher-acuity births as needed
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy per protocol
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesiologists and neonatal teams
• Educate patients and families on labor progress, pain management options, newborn care and postpartum recovery
• Document assessments, interventions and patient education in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement, safety initiatives and shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care
