Core responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician supervision.
- Perform patient assessments and implement prescribed medications and treatments.
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient status regularly.
- Clean, dress, and manage wounds; observe for infection or complications.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate changes to the care team.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection control protocols.
