Coverage period: Sep 1, 2026 – Dec 1, 2026
Schedule: Mon–Thu 8:00–12:00 & 13:00–17:00; Fri 8:00–14:00
Patient population: Adults
Volume: 25–30 cases/day
Case mix: Interventional pain procedures including injections, spinal cord stimulator trials, and kyphoplasty
Required procedures:
- Cervical, thoracic, lumbar epidural steroid injections
- Facet joint blocks and radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
- Sacroiliac joint injections
- Peripheral joint injections
- Spinal cord stimulator trials
- Kyphoplasty
- Stellate, celiac, lumbar sympathetic, superior hypogastric, ganglion impar, Gasserian, occipital nerve blocks
Facility and equipment:
- eClinicalWorks EMR
- In-office procedure suite with fluoroscopy and RF generator
- Support staff: radiology tech, nurse, medical assistant
Privileges, credentialing, compliance:
- Hospital privileges not required
- Credentialing timeline: ~1 week
- Must follow clinic compliance for medication management (low MME dosing, drug testing, prescription monitoring)
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina medical license required
- Board certification preferred (Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation)
- EHR proficiency, computer literate, strong communication skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Independently perform listed interventional pain procedures in an outpatient setting
- Manage high daily case volume efficiently and safely
- Use fluoroscopy and RF equipment as indicated
- Coordinate care with support staff and adhere to clinic compliance protocols
