We’re seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner to join a urology team in Richland, WA, providing both inpatient and outpatient care on a locum tenens basis. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule with required beeper call coverage during weeknights and a 24-hour weekend rotation.

Schedule & Coverage

• Coverage period: Nov 1, 2026 – ongoing
• Typical shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (or 7:30 AM–4:30 PM)
• Call: Weeknight beeper and 24-hour weekend call; call ratio 1:4 with a 20-minute response expectation
• Coverage type: Clinical duties plus call

Clinical Scope & Patient Volume

• Average daily patient volume: ~22
• Responsibilities include outpatient urology visits, phone consults, and first assisting in urologic surgeries
• Expected to help manage patient flow and clinic scheduling, and to work closely with physicians and support staff to maintain continuity of care

Facility & Support

• EMR: Epic
• Typical support team: 3 RNs and 9 MAs, plus 2 other PAs/NPs; office support to be determined
• Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges are not available)

Qualifications & Compliance

• Board certified (BC)
• Universal licensure (IMLC) required
• DEA registration required
• BLS certification required
• Experience required: outpatient urology and experience as a surgical first assistant
