Patient volume & case mix
- Average: ~10 patients/day
- Case mix: Adult hematology and medical oncology
Clinical responsibilities
- Provide outpatient hematology/oncology care to adults
- Manage chemotherapy and immunotherapy in coordination with the infusion center
- Perform bone marrow biopsies as needed (experience preferred)
- Participate in multidisciplinary care with NP/PA, RNs, social work, dietician, palliative care, and oncology nurse navigator
- Collaborate with clinic leadership and support staff for care coordination
Facility & support
- EMR: Epic
- Specialty backup: NP, RN, social work, dietician, palliative care, nurse navigator
- Support staff: 6 RNs, 2 MAs, 1 PA/NP, 6 office staff; dedicated oncology nurse manager
Privileges & compliance
- Hospital privileges required
Required qualifications
- Board: BC/BE in Hematology & Oncology
- Medical license: Active Oregon license required
- DEA required
- Certifications: BLS
- Skills: EMR proficiency, strong team collaboration
- Preferred: Bone marrow biopsy experience
