School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist — Wilmington, NC (Contract, PreK12)

We’re looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Speech-Language Pathologist to join a public school team in Wilmington, NC. In this in-person, contract role you’ll evaluate students, deliver both individual and group therapy, write and monitor treatment plans and IEP goals, and work closely with families and school staff to help students reach their communication potential.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing assessments to identify student needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans and measurable IEP goals.
• Provide direct individual and group speech-language therapy and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate service records, including Medicaid-related documentation where required.
• Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Consult with teachers, families, and other school personnel to recommend accommodations and communication strategies.
• Adhere to district policies, confidentiality standards, and professional ethics.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current North Carolina SLP license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred; Clinical Fellows may be considered with appropriate supervision.
• Familiarity with assessments, IEP development, treatment planning, and progress monitoring.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Successful completion of required background checks and fingerprinting.
