Join a caring team in Grand Junction, CO, for a locum tenens primary care role supporting patients with acute, chronic, and preventive needs. You’ll work on-site for a concentrated coverage period from Aug 3, 2026 to Nov 2, 2026, typically on a 4x10-hour shift schedule.
What you’ll do
- Provide a full range of primary care services: diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, manage preventive care, and address urgent medical concerns.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments and evaluate patient needs in the clinic setting.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Medical Director and the interdisciplinary medical team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
- Make timely, appropriate referrals to contracted community providers when needed.
Who we’re looking for
- At least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Current, unrestricted APN and RXN licenses in Colorado.
- National certification preferred as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP (AGPCNP), or another appropriate population focus.
- Active DEA registration.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of maintained automobile for the duration of employment.
