Required credentials

• Valid, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license.
• BLS certification.

Core responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments; monitor and document patient status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments safely and per protocol.
• Manage wound care: evaluate, clean, dress wounds, and monitor for infection or complications.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and communicate changes in condition to the care team.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection control and safety procedures.
