Requirements:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license.
Core responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function.
- Diagnose communication and swallowing disorders and determine severity.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver evidence-based therapy to improve articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia; instruct patients and families on compensatory strategies and therapeutic exercises.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
