Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist — Hospital-Based (Endoscopy, ERCP, EUS) — Morgantown, WV

We’re looking for a Gastroenterology physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Morgantown, WV, at a 189-bed hospital (Level IV trauma) using Cerner. This assignment runs from Oct 1, 2026 through Apr 1, 2027 and includes both clinical shifts and call coverage.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide outpatient clinic care for general GI patients (roughly 10–12 clinic visits per day).
• Perform endoscopic procedures, with a typical daily endoscopy volume of 12–20 procedures.
• Carry out advanced procedures including ERCP and EUS.
• Manage inpatient consultations and participate in call rotation.
• Collaborate with nursing and specialty colleagues and document care accurately in Cerner.

Who we’re looking for:

• Board certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligible via IMLC.
• Valid DEA registration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Logistics and other details:

• Case mix includes general and advanced GI, endoscopy, ERCP, and EUS.
• Credentialing typically requires about 60 days.
