Join a Level III NICU team in Fredericksburg, VA, providing in-house neonatal coverage (call-only) on 16-hour shifts with a 30-minute neonatologist response. This locum tenens role supports an 8-bed NICU (average daily census 9–11) and 10 LDR rooms, delivering neonatal intensive care and attending deliveries as needed. You will collaborate closely with neonatologists and OB hospitalists, perform neonatal resuscitation and newborn management, provide nighttime in-house coverage with on-call backup, and educate RN/RT teams on neonatal care protocols.
Requirements:
- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
- Active Virginia APRN license and current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical NNP experience
- Clean professional/credentialing history (no malpractice or license issues)
- CV in MM/YYYY format with explanations for any gaps
