Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current ORT certification
- Minimum 2 years OR experience required
- BCLS certification required
- Effective verbal and written communication with department staff, hospital personnel, medical staff, and vendors
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile operating field for scheduled and emergency cases
- Assemble instrumentation and supplies per surgeon pick sheets
- Handle and pass instruments during procedures; anticipate surgeon needs
- Participate in pressure or clerical assignments and other department duties as required
- Maintain patient and departmental confidentiality; support organizational mission, vision, and values
